SIVB Call for Nominations 2008-2010 Board of Directors and Committee Office Position Slate
Nominations are being accepted for Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) 2008-2010 Executive Board and Committee Officer Positions. The SIVB is a volunteer scientific society with elections to be held during the fall of 2007. Board of Directors and Committee Office positions include: President-elect; Vice President; Secretary; Treasurer; Public Policy Committee Chair; Publications Committee Chair; Awards Committee Chair; and Members-at Large.

Potential nominations for the above SIVB positions are due by May 1, 2007 to be considered by the Nominating Committee for submission to the Board of Directors for approval of the final slate. Please direct any recommendations or other input to the Nominating Committee Chair, David Altman (iprconsulting@comcast.net or 503-320-7177) or the SIVB office (sivb@sivb.org). The SIVB By-laws also provide for nomination by petition, and these petitions must have original signatures of at least 10 Regular Members in good standing. Petitions must be forwarded to the SIVB Secretary, Nancy Reichert (Contact at nreichert@pss.msstate.edu for information on petition submission.), with the deadline being October 1, 2007.
